STERN FIX

 

STERN FIX is an FDA approved, sternal stabilization system made of carbon-fiber reinforced PEEK-OPTIMA™ that provides a rigid fixation of the sternum following 

sternotomy procedure.

STERN FIX -  Adaptive sternal closure 

The use of STERN FIX provides continuous contact between the two halves of the sternum, with sustained compression strength during the entire healing process, even after high forces of separation (like coughing) are applied.
